DAY 1: Cusco – Abra Málaga – Maranura (Coffee Route) – Santa Teresa – Lucmabamba

06:00 a.m.: Departure from Cusco in private transport.
Ascent to Abra Málaga, a strategic point ideal for birdwatching in a mountain environment.
Descent to Maranura and the coffee-growing area.
Lunch on the road and Coffee Tour to learn about the local process.
Arrival in Santa Teresa after lunch to enjoy a relaxing time at the thermal baths.
Transfer to Lucmabamba (Lucma).
Overnight: Domes in Lucmabamba.

DAY 2: Lucmabamba – Llactapata Inca Trail – Hidroeléctrica – Aguas Calientes

Start of the hike along the Llactapata Inca Trail (approx. 6 hours total: 3 hours uphill and 3 hours downhill).
Section through the jungle eyebrow with panoramic and impressive views from above of the citadel and archaeological remains of Machu Picchu, as well as Huayna Picchu.
Descent and continued hike to Hidroeléctrica.
Boarding the train from Hidroeléctrica to the town of Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo).
Overnight: Hotel in Aguas Calientes.

DAY 3: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Return to Cusco

In the morning, ascent to the archaeological remains of Machu Picchu for a guided tour of the citadel.
Time at the archaeological complex and subsequent return to Aguas Calientes.
In the afternoon, boarding the return train to the station and final transfer by bus directly to the city of Cusco.
